Job Description

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of predictive models to derive actionable insights from complex data sets. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and leverage your expertise in data analysis and modeling techniques to provide valuable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data science, machine learning, computer vision, NLP, and MLOps techniques. A bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field is required, with a master's degree preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with domain experts, stakeholders, and data engineers to identify and gather relevant data for analysis.
  • Develop strategy for Predictive Analytics.
  • Understand natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
  • Develop and apply advanced analytics for organizational strategy like prescriptive analytics/data optimization and simulation.
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models and algorithms to analyze large and complex datasets.
  • Work on data exploration and visualization.
  • Extensive experience in data communication and storytelling.
  • Big data analytics, processing, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns and trends.
  • Perform feature engineering, variable selection, and model validation to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of predictive models.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and produce developed models for deployment in real-world systems.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, computer vision, NLP, and MLOps techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.

Experience: 8+ years of experience, including leading small DS teams.

Skills: Strong analytical thinking and a passion for data-driven decision-making. Experience working on tools like Python, Power BI, and Tableau.
