Formulation Development Specialist

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and launch. The role also involves working closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver consumer-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize formulations for new and existing products, ensuring they meet regulatory and quality standards.\
  • Conduct research and experiments to evaluate the stability, efficacy, and safety of formulations.\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory, and manufacturing, to ensure successful product development and launch.\
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all formulation activities and experiments.\
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in formulation science and incorporate new techniques and technologies into the development process.\
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to formulation and product performance.\
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior scientists and other team members.\

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field from a reputable institution.\
  • Minimum 7-8 years of proven experience in formulation development, preferably in the pharmaceutical or consumer goods industry.\
  • Strong understanding of formulation principles, techniques, and regulatory requirements.\
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.\
  • Proficiency in using formulation software and laboratory equipment.\
  • Experience with formulation of complex dosage forms such as emulsions, suspensions, and controlled-release systems.\
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory guidelines.\
