About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for revisiting existing GPay merchant partners to ensure continued satisfaction with GPay QR code and sound box solutions.
  • This role involves nurturing merchant relationships, resolving issues, and driving increased adoption of GPay services through proactive engagement and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Merchant Relationship Management:
  2. Revisit existing GPay merchant partners to guarantee ongoing satisfaction with GPay QR code and sound box solutions.
  3. Maintain long-term relationships by acting as the primary point of contact for continuous support and engagement.
  4. Regularly check-in with merchants to identify operational challenges and provide effective solutions.
  5. Product Optimization and Upselling:
  6. Educate merchants on advanced features and best practices for using GPay's QR code and sound box solutions to maximize transaction efficiency.
  7. Identify opportunities to upsell additional GPay services or features that benefit merchants (e.g., transaction analytics, extra sound boxes).
  8. Encourage higher usage of GPay by offering advice on how merchants can attract more digital payments from customers.
  9. Issue Resolution and Technical Support:
  10. Address technical issues merchants may encounter with QR code payments or sound boxes.
  11. Coordinate with the technical team to resolve complex issues quickly and efficiently.
  12. Provide troubleshooting tips and guidance to merchants on common issues and solutions.
  13. Training and Merchant Support:
  14. Conduct training sessions for merchants and their teams to ensure they are fully equipped to use GPay's services efficiently.
  15. Ensure merchants comprehend the sound box functionality and audio confirmations of transactions.
  16. Assist merchants in navigating updates or changes to the GPay platform, ensuring a seamless transition.
  17. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  18. Track merchant performance in terms of transaction volume and adoption of GPay's QR code and sound box solutions.
  19. Identify low-activity merchants and work with them to increase usage through education and incentives.
  20. Supply detailed reports to the sales management team, outlining merchant feedback, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  21. Cross-Department Collaboration:
  22. Collaborate with customer support and technical teams to ensure merchant issues are resolved promptly.
  23. Work closely with the sales team to share merchant feedback that can enhance product development and service offerings.

Salary Estimate: ₹ 8 - 15 lakhs per annum.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management, preferably in the digital payments or fintech industry.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical clients.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify merchant challenges and provide efficient solutions.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of QR codes and sound box technology; ability to guide merchants through setup and troubleshooting.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and engagement.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to upsell and cross-sell additional features and services.
  • Self-Motivation: Strong self-discipline and motivation to independently manage merchant revisits and follow-ups.
