We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Representative to spearhead our sales efforts in the sensor and intelligent lighting market.
The ideal candidate will excel at identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth by effectively positioning our innovative sensor solutions in the market.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify, prospect, and qualify potential B2B clients leveraging industry trends and competitor analysis.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to expand the company's customer base.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients through exceptional customer service.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Product Expertise:
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of OCTIOT's sensor and intelligent lighting solutions.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training for clients to enhance their knowledge and adoption.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and market demands in the sensor sector.
- Provide valuable insights to the product development team regarding client needs and market trends.
- Sales Operations:
- Prepare and deliver customized proposals, quotes, and contracts to meet client requirements.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maintaining accurate sales records.
- Networking and Events:
- Represent OCTIOT at industry expos, conferences, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns and promotional activities that drive sales growth.
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in sales or business development are highly valued.
- Experience:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably in the sensor or intelligent lighting industry.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in sales or business development.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them in a business context.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
