Job Summary

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in revenue accounting operations and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

  • Maintain compliance with internal controls for revenue recognition and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Lead major and ad-hoc process improvements, participate in audits, and prepare financial data for management.
  • Oversight of daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management.

Responsibilities:

You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate recording of revenue per US GAAP and Company's revenue recognition policy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve this goal.

Your responsibilities include reviewing statements of works to ensure appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with ASC 606. You will also lead and mentor a team of revenue accountants to help them grow professionally within the accounting organization, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture while championing a continuous improvement mindset.

To be successful in this role, you will need to maintain compliance with internal controls for revenue recognition and related balance sheet accounts. You will also lead major and ad-hoc process and/or system improvements, participate in the completion of internal and external audits, and support in preparing and analyzing revenue data for management and relevant partners.

Additionally, you will oversee daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and petty cash management. You will ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, monitor and reconcile cash and sales transactions across all outlets, and establish sound financial policies that are in tune with the company's operations while safeguarding all mandatory requirements.

You will oversee daily cash and sales porting from all outlets into the system, ensure that the data ported is complete, verified, and error-free, coordinate with outlet staff for resolving discrepancies in real-time, prepare financial documentation and reports for internal and external audits, address audit queries, and ensure timely completion of audit processes.

You will also supervise and support the accounts team in daily tasks, provide training on accounting procedures and system updates, implement checks and balances to prevent errors or fraud, recommend process improvements to strengthen internal financial controls, assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and provide regular MIS reports and financial insights to management.
