Project Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the project execution of turbomachinery products with high technical complexity and intensity.

  • Lead project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring seamless collaboration between design engineering, project management & quality teams, as well as customers and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise quality and timeliness of projects, guaranteeing timely completion and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage customer technical interfaces and related communication, fostering strong relationships with customers to ensure reliable project execution.
  • Partner with product development teams to ensure flawless execution, review and assess information received from internal teams needed to start the job, and identify customer requirements indicated in contractual technical specifications.
  • Ensure proper understanding of technical customer needs within the organization, manage and schedule drawing lists to be submitted to customers in accordance with contractual obligations, and manage bill of materials for assigned projects to meet contractual requirements.
  • Support engineering planning and related issues resolution, lead internal design activities, reviews, and technical decisions, coordinate design reviews and project review processes with the engineering team, and lead project risk mitigation processes and abatement plans through design reviews.
  • Attend customer meetings, action plan to resolve open points, responsible for drawings/document's quality issued to customers during the job, and lead initiatives to reach quality targets during job execution.
  • Attend quality meetings with customers and third parties involved, lead the engineering team to customer issue resolution during execution phase, develop action plans to respond to issues/problems, identifying clear owners, due dates, and innovative solutions.
  • Manage and control engineering hours allocated to the job and its spent, raise, manage, and approve technical customer change orders, managing resources, productivity, financial targets, and project KPIs.
  • Review test specifications and attend machinery tests with suppliers and/or clients, support different company functions involved in the assigned job, supervising technical documentation with regards to quality and time schedules issuing as per project needs, and present projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders.
