Senior Financial Leader Job Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will be a senior financial leader with extensive experience in credit analysis and team leadership. You will have a strong background in finance, economics or a related field and additional qualifications such as CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2. Your excellent written and oral communication skills, along with your ability to multitask and focus on detail, make you an ideal candidate for this role.

  • Lead a team of highly skilled analysts in the underwriting process for residential real estate loans.
  • Work closely with the Credit Committee in New York to ensure seamless functioning of the credit function.
  • Oversee daily underwriting pipeline and queues to ensure timely movement, balanced workloads, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Ensure quality of credit analysis, train and mentor the team to ensure adherence to underwriting quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Underwrite deals for the US market and oversee the underwriting pipeline.
  • Train and mentor the team to ensure high-quality underwriting decisions.
  • Develop and execute process enhancements in the credit function to improve analysis quality and turnaround times.
  • Interact with clients and other stakeholders to gather feedback and mentor the team accordingly.
  • Present hand-selected deals to investment committee for final approval.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PG/Master's degree from a premier college with a specialization in finance, economics or a related field.
  • Additional financial qualification US CFA Level 2+ or FRM Level 2.
  • Experience in credit analysis, especially in the real estate industry. Exposure to the US market will be an advantage.
  • Experience in leading a small team of highly skilled analysts.
  • Exposure to US or European clients and managing offshore teams will be an advantage.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
