
Business Development Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, expand our market presence, and improve sales performance.
">Key Responsibilities:- Network Development: Identify suitable partners, negotiate terms, and close deals to create a strong distributor network.
- Documentation Compliance: Ensure all necessary documentation and statutory compliance are in order for new distributors.
- Sales Target Setting: Set targets for primary and secondary markets, as well as retail stores, and achieve these goals for each distributor under your supervision.
- Sales Management: Manage sales to distributors and retail stores, ensuring sales targets are met through personal efforts and sales team performance.
- Inventory Management: Coordinate distributor invoicing, dispatch, collections, and outstanding management, adhering to FIFO principles and tracking outstanding amounts.
- Balance Confirmation: Regularly confirm distributor balances.
- Reporting: Prepare daily sales reports, weekly inventory and sales reports, and monthly sales vs achievement reports with ageing analysis for distributors.
- Outlet Service: Directly oversee and service A+ category retail outlets.
- Product Placement: Ensure optimal model mix and placement of focused products.
- Sales Team Management: Monitor, train, groom, and motivate the sales team to deliver targeted results by providing support, information, and guidance.
- Inventory Level Monitoring: Monitor distributor inventory levels, including SKUs and overall stock.
- Product Display: Maintain attractive product displays across the area.
- Competitor Analysis: Analyze and summarize sales and inventory reports according to company-provided timelines, also reporting competitor activity to the RSM or HO.
- Sales Promotions: Implement effective and efficient sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in mobile accessories or related industries.
- Market Reputation: Good market reputation in handling distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive business growth.
- Track Record: Proven track record of success in expanding market presence and driving sales growth, particularly in urban and rural areas.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and MIS reporting.
