As a senior risk consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our structured finance strategies.

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to support various structured product lines, including CDOs and CLOs.
  • Key responsibilities include creating cash flow and analytics models for securitized products, as well as transaction modeling and analytics.
  • You will be responsible for building independent cash flow and collateral models for various structured products using Microsoft Excel.
  • A critical component of this role is the ability to interpret prospectus/indenture information and deal structural features.
  • Strong relationships with client personnel at all levels are essential, along with consistent delivery of quality client services.
  • Demonstrated technical capabilities and industry knowledge are vital to success in this position.

Requirements

  • a bachelor's degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience.
  • a degree in finance, economics, accounting, mathematics, engineering or a related discipline; MBA or MS preferred.
  • prior structured finance experience is strongly preferred.
  • strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and client presentations.
  • analytical skills; specifically, the ability to assess and decompose financial services industry processes utilizing a risk and control focus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership and project management skills and the ability to work within a team setting.
  • prior experience in consulting preferred.
  • Experience working at a consulting firm, rating agency, investment bank, collateral manager, trustee bank or corporate trust operations supporting structured products.
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting and proficient in Bloomberg.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and excellent prioritization skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skill.
  • Superior Excel skills with VBA experience.
