Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our credit and strategy team as a Transaction Modeler. This role requires expertise in building sophisticated cash flow models for asset-backed securitization and project finance transactions, with strong technical skills and experience working directly with credit rating agencies.

This position involves designing and developing complex Excel-based cash flow models for asset-backed securitization transactions across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will combine deep analytical capabilities with practical transaction execution experience and be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, data analysis tools, and model architecture.

The successful candidate will work closely with the origination, structuring, and capital markets teams throughout the transaction lifecycle, providing analytical insights on portfolio performance and supporting due diligence processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or related quantitative field
- 8-10 years of experience in structured finance, securitization, or related analytical role
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation
- Experience with securitization documentation and legal structures
- Direct experience negotiating with credit rating agencies
