Cloud Engineering Role

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping the overall architecture of our cloud solutions. Your expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures will ensure that they align with business goals, scalability requirements, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust AWS solutions (DevOps, Development, Security)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements
  • Implement AWS monitoring systems and security measures to safeguard AWS environments
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
  • Develop strategies for optimizing AWS costs without compromising performance or security

Required Skills / Experience:

  • 7 to 9 Years Experience in Information Technology
  • Strong experience implementing access control using IAM
  • Experience with repository management (Git)
  • Experience implementing, maintaining, and monitoring AWS Workspaces
  • Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible Tower, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Strong AWS implementation and administration experience
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining secure networking practices within the AWS infrastructure
  • Experience monitoring/maintaining multi-region disaster recovery solutions using AWS services
  • Experience with CloudTrail and CloudWatch
  • Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and processes to achieve commitments

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Scripting capability and ability to develop scripted AWS infrastructure
  • General understanding of multi-region and hybrid cloud architectures
