Job Title: Tech Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Tech Leader to spearhead our Engineering team. As a leader, you will be responsible for driving technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of engineers with a hands-on approach
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Create design artifacts for implementation
- Develop cloud-native applications on GCP/AWS
- Ensure 'zero-defect software' by developing test cases alongside implementation
- Develop UI components, APIs, business components, microservices, etc. to simplify the user journey
- Analyze support tickets and propose solutions to fix them
- Interact with customers to understand their challenges and bring in customer insights to the team
- Collaborate with the Product team, other Business Teams, and Enabler pods to determine business priorities
- Set up processes to ensure high quality and excellence
- Foster a culture of ownership and innovation within the team

Requirements:
  • 12-16 years of experience in tech leadership or engineering roles
  • Strong system design and architecture skills, functional or OO programming skills, clean coding skills (min. good understanding of basic SOLID principles)
  • Expertise in common design patterns
  • Backend: Elixir, Java, Python, Golang, Node.js, Ruby; ready to work on any of the stacks listed here after upskilling
  • Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB or any RDBMS; strong SQL and performance tuning skills; database design knowledge
  • Cloud, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Product Development Methodologies such as Agile
  • Strong design skills in defining API Data Contracts / OOAD / Microservices / Data Models and Concurrency concepts
  • User Interface development using modern Web Frameworks such as React

Soft Skills:
  • Solution-oriented problem-solving mindset
  • Leadership skills & some experience with client interactions
  • Excellent communication skills, opinions, & confidence to express yourself
