Quality Assurance Leadership Role

This position involves overseeing the quality assurance efforts of our products to ensure they meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and automation testing, as well as leading a team of engineers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality QA tasks and providing continuous feedback to the QA manager.
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to understand product architecture and functionality.
  • Ensuring project deadlines are met while continually raising the bar on quality processes.
  • Developing and maintaining QA artifacts such as test plans, test cases, and execution reports.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, collaborating with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Preparing and configuring test environments, including software installations and configurations.
  • Conducting exploratory testing to find defects not covered by test cases.
  • Deploying microservices applications in the Engineering environment.
  • Supporting the SRE team for production releases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automation testing of SAAS products, with leadership experience over a team of 3-5 engineers.
  • Experience working on public or private cloud platforms is essential.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is a significant advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation for multi-tier Enterprise and/or Cloud, SaaS applications is required.
  • Experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers is necessary.
  • Strong background in functional UI and API automation is expected.
  • Proficiency in Linux is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Oracle DB is desirable but not essential.
