Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

The Software Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software products. This role requires a deep understanding of software development processes and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Test Plans and Scenarios: Work with the team to develop test plans and scenarios that ensure thorough testing of software applications.
- Implement QA Best Practices: Develop and implement quality assurance best practices that align with industry standards.
- Design and Develop Automation Frameworks: Design and develop automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and BDD framework.
- Execute Manual and Automated Tests: Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and suggest improvements on the automation framework.
- Collaborate with Developers: Collaborate with developers to understand and resolve defects, and analyze test results to track software testing metrics.
- Prepare and Present Test Reports: Prepare and present test reports to stakeholders and train junior software test engineers.
Requirements:
- 7+ Years of Professional Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software testing – manual & automation and quality assurance practice.
- Trade Finance Platforms Experience: Exposure to trade finance platforms and experience testing web applications, databases, and APIs.
- Strong Expertise in Testing: Strong expertise in performing different types of functional and non-functional testing.
- Automation Framework Proficiency: Experience designing and developing test automation frameworks and proficiency in Selenium Webdrivers and TestNG.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- REST API Knowledge: Good knowledge of REST APIs, database technologies like SQL server, MySQL, and configuration management.
- Financial Services Knowledge: Financial services knowledge and ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
