Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit risk models and frameworks in a rural/semi-urban lending context.

You will implement and monitor credit risk strategies across the lending life cycle, including acquisition, underwriting, cross-sell, and collections. Additionally, you will review portfolios regularly to identify early warning signals and analyze trends to track portfolio quality based on accepted risk parameters.

Furthermore, you will ensure risk policies are reviewed timely and reflect the dynamic external environment and internal risk appetite. You will also analyze industry data at scale, prepare management information systems (MIS) dashboards, and brief senior management on changing market conditions.

As a Risk Analyst, you will regularly review processes for adherence to risk policies and ensure controls are effective and functioning as intended. You will also coordinate with internal teams to strengthen the risk framework.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree from a top-tier college.
  • 3-6 years of experience managing risk in a non-banking financial company (NBFC), fintech, or lending organization.
  • Two+ years of experience in Python and SQL is mandatory.
  • Excellent understanding of data analysis and ability to derive insights.
  • Sound knowledge of statistical models.
  • Experience in microfinance/MSME lending is an added advantage.
