We're seeking a skilled Technical Translation Specialist to join our AWS Cloud Support team in Bangalore, India. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in creating an environment for non-native English customers to utilize AWS support content effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate public and internal documents from Japanese into English.
  • Create Japanese subtitles for short videos.
  • Perform live translation between English and Japanese during internal video conferences.
  • Translate training materials for our support teams.
  • Review the Japanese language quality of internal communications within our support ticket system.
  • Deliver Japanese communication training to our support teams.
  • Translate notifications and announcements sent to our Japanese customers.
  • Promote our documents and videos on social media.
  • Grade Japanese examination results of hiring candidates and employees.
  • Lead an initiative to evaluate systems to assess the Japanese language skills of hiring candidates.
  • Identify and implement improvements to operational procedures.
