About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through proactive lead generation, outreach, and relationship-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers and key decision-makers by utilizing industry databases and other tools to identify new business opportunities.
- Initial Outreach: Execute targeted outreach through personalized emails, phone calls, and social media messages to interact with prospects effectively.
- Lead Nurturing: Qualify leads using frameworks such as BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) and conduct discovery calls to assess client requirements and evaluate fit.
- Appointment Setting: Schedule discovery meetings or product demos with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- New Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to explore new markets and increase revenue opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a small team of outbound sales professionals to enhance their skills and productivity.
Qualifications:
- 3-4 years of experience in B2B sales, with expertise in lead generation through cold calls, emails, and outreach.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, Information Technology & Services, or EdTech preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Sales and Marketing (BBA / B.Com), or a related field (preferred).
- Proven ability in business development and generating new lead generation streams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools.
- Goal-oriented, resilient, and persistent in achieving targets.
Estimated Salary: ₹25-30 lakhs per annum, depending on experience and performance.
