A global leader in healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Officer to join our team. This role requires a strong background in patient care, clinical documentation, and medical education.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical services to patients, including virtual consultations, clinical documentation, and patient education. They will also play a key role in the development of treatment plans and coordination of care with other healthcare professionals.

  • Patient Consultations:
    • Conduct virtual consultations with patients via a secure telehealth platform.
    • Evaluate patient medical histories, symptoms, and complaints through digital communication.
    • Provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
  • Clinical Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in an electronic health record system.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and privacy standards.
  • Patient Education:
    • Educate patients on their medical conditions, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare measures.
    • Address patient questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Team Management:
    • Manage a team of Medical Officers, including rostering, leave management, and conducting seminars or group discussions.
    • Quality audit: audit consultations done by Medical Officers, share feedback, and monitor performance to ensure high-quality consultations.
    • Hiring, onboarding, and training new doctors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Clinical Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Education: A medical degree (MBBS with or without MD or DNB).
  • Skills: Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with telehealth platforms and electronic health records (EHR), empathy, and patient-centric approach.
