Culinary Specialist

As a senior kitchen specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for our menu as requested by your supervisor.

You must possess advanced knife handling skills and be able to work in any section of the kitchen.

It is essential to have a good understanding of culinary terms and be able to read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes efficiently and productively.

Additionally, you must maintain your assigned area according to Public Health standards and ensure personal appearance, uniform, and hygiene comply with our expectations.

• Prepare all basic food items for the menu
• Must possess advanced knife handling skills
• Must be able to work in any section of a kitchen
• Must have a good food knowledge and understanding of culinary terms
• Must be able to read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes
• Must be proficient in effectively completing tasks
• Always follow Public Health guidelines according to our expectations within their section

• A minimum of 4 years in an upscale hotel, resort, or convention banqueting service
• At least 2 years as a senior kitchen specialist (shipboard experience preferred)
• Culinary school degree required
• Strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment
• Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and people skills
• Superior customer service, team-building, and conflict resolution skills
