Job Title: Compliance Officer

Job Description

The role of a Compliance Officer is to ensure that all customer interactions are conducted in accordance with relevant laws, regulations and company policies. This involves performing customer due diligence checks, verifying customer information, conducting background checks on new clients, partners and vendors, and managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Compliance Officer will also be required to stay up-to-date with any changes in regulations or policies affecting customer onboarding, review and update customer records in the company database, and respond to customer queries related to KYC and onboarding.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in KYC and customer onboarding or a related field.
  • Knowledge of KYC regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) laws, and financial regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proficient in using KYC tools, databases, and software.
