Job Description

We are revolutionizing the way information is used to enhance life for all. Our team of experts in network engineering is responsible for maintaining and improving our local area network (LAN) infrastructure, including network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WLCs, wireless, voice, and telephony infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain LAN infrastructure, including network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WLCs, wireless, voice, and telephony infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with WAN support teams to maintain wide area network (WAN) infrastructure, including WAN ISP circuits and VPN tunnels.
  • Monitor alerts and traffic statistics to prevent disruption to network services using network performance monitoring tools such as OpsRamp, Splunk, NetScout, NetBrain, DNAC, etc.
  • Address network incidents submitted via service tickets, phones, and emails.
  • Restore network services based on troubleshooting guides within SLA timeframes.
  • Prepare documentation for the improvement of SOPs based on lesson learned.
  • Identify initiatives to reduce incidents and improve team productivity and efficiency.
  • Escalate unresolved cases to the next support level and adhere to escalation KPIs.
  • Compile network incidents and system performance indices for a system health review.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in maintaining LAN infrastructure, including network switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, WLCs, wireless, voice, and telephony infrastructure.
  • Strong collaboration skills with WAN support teams to maintain wide area network (WAN) infrastructure, including WAN ISP circuits and VPN tunnels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to monitor alerts and traffic statistics using network performance monitoring tools.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to address network incidents and collaborate with teams.
  • Ability to prepare documentation for the improvement of SOPs and identify initiatives to reduce incidents.
