International Leadership Role

Job Summary:

Drive organizational strategy to enhance global economic influence and position the company as a premier representative of Indian industry in the international arena.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an international strategy to boost India's global economic standing.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with foreign governments, multilateral organizations, and global chambers to foster trade and investment opportunities.
  • Promote programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for Indian industry.
  • Evaluate global engagements to ensure alignment with national priorities and reinforce India's domestic economic objectives.
  • Explore revenue streams through collaborations, sponsorships, and projects to secure financial sustainability of international initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in international relations, public policy, economics, or business administration from a reputable institution. PhD or equivalent international policy exposure preferred.
  • A minimum of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.
  • Expertise in international trade, investment, and diplomacy. Strong policy and advocacy background. Broad knowledge of global economic issues.
  • Visionary leadership with deep knowledge of international trade and diplomacy. Excellent diplomatic, negotiation, influencing, and consensus-building skills. Wide international network across governments, industry associations, and multilateral institutions. Excellent public speaking and cross-cultural communication skills. High credibility, gravitas, and ability to influence global economic policy.
