Bid Manager Position

Job Overview:

  • This role involves being a subject matter expert for public sector marketplace processes, focusing on formal RFx responses and other proposals.
  • The bid manager will lead the development of tenders, requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and procurement documents for SaaS/PaaS solutions in the public sector, education, and nonprofits lines of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in opportunity analysis as part of a team and contribute to the Go/No Go decision process.
  • Develop comprehensive bid/response plans and schedules for all phases of the bid/proposal development process, handling multiple RFx response efforts and deadlines.
  • Coordinate content preparation, revision, and submission, collaborating with sales, solution engineering, security, legal, and compliance teams, as well as communicating with responding partners when necessary.

Essential Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience, with the last 5+ years in a proposal development role selling products and services in response to government solicitations under direct and indirect contracting models.
  • 5 years of experience in the technology consulting industry as a Technical Writer, creating responses for government organizations.
  • Familiarity with technical writing for cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions.
