About this role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and ambitious individual to fill the position of Chief Operating Officer. This is not a traditional corporate role, but rather a startup leadership apprenticeship for someone eager to grow into a future leader.

As our ideal candidate, you will be responsible for managing operations, projects, and people while ensuring that key stakeholders' time is spent on high-leverage priorities. You will work closely with our founder to execute cross-functional projects in tech, AI, marketing, product development, research, stakeholder management, and operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Projects: Lead and execute cross-functional projects in tech, AI, marketing, and product development.
  • Research & Insights: Conduct deep research on markets, competitors, and emerging opportunities to inform business decisions.
  • Marketing & Growth: Work closely with marketing teams to brainstorm, test, and optimize campaigns to drive growth.
  • Product Development: Assist in ideation, prototyping, and execution of new product launches to meet market demands.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with investors, partners, lawyers, agencies, and other key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Founder's Office Ops: Manage the founder's calendar, emails, meetings, travel bookings, and legal/financial paperwork to maintain organizational efficiency.
  • Execution & Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges, find solutions, and ensure smooth execution of tasks to achieve business objectives.
  • Leadership Prep: Shadow the founder, learn decision-making frameworks, and gradually take ownership of strategic responsibilities to prepare for future leadership roles.

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in consulting, startups, strategy, or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong background (or keen interest) in tech, AI, marketing, or product management to drive innovation and growth.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and research skills to inform business decisions and drive results.
  • High ownership, adaptability, and ability to operate in fast-paced environments to thrive in a dynamic startup culture.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and communicate business outcomes.
  • Strong organizational skills for handling calendars, travel, and stakeholder coordination to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Hunger to grow into a leadership role (potential leadership track within 2 years) to develop future leaders.
