Empowering Lives through Livelihood Development

The role of Center Manager – Livelihood involves overseeing Magic Bus resources, staff, and local partners to ensure the full offer of the Livelihood program is available to youth in the district.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Managing resources, staff, and local partners to deliver the Livelihood program effectively.
  • Leading a team delivering the Livelihood program at the district level.
  • Driving targets at each stage of intervention, including mobilization, needs assessment, skills training delivery, and placement in work or education.
  • Supporting frontline staff with comprehensive needs assessments and personal development plans for each youth.
  • Providing career counseling and impartial information, advice, and guidance.
  • Overseeing community need assessments and mapping exercises at the district level.
  • Collaborating with Regional Senior Managers to implement updates to the Livelihood program.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of MIS and computer skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage people and time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to follow processes correctly and use specific tools and methods consistently.
  • Strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground-level problems.
  • Well-organized working style with excellent time management skills.

Pre-requisites Qualification: Graduation in any stream.

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the Skill Development sector, with 2 years at a leadership role.
