Lead Order Manager

We are seeking a Senior Logistics Professional to join our team. This role is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are comfortable with off-roll arrangements.
- Key Responsibilities:
- A) Order Management and Documentation:
- Receive customer orders and verify that all details are complete, accurate, and aligned with customer requirements.
- Generate necessary documentation for freight forwarding, including invoices, delivery notes, and Eway Bills.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatched orders, including delivery status and related documentation.
- B) Dispatch Planning and Coordination:
- Plan and schedule the dispatch of goods in line with customer orders and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate closely with warehouse teams to ensure product availability, correct packing, and efficient loading.
- Ensure timely availability of delivery vehicles through coordination with transport vendors.
- C) Dispatch Monitoring and Issue Resolution:
- Track and monitor the status of dispatched orders to ensure they reach customers within the expected timeframe.
- Proactively resolve any delays, damages, or issues that occur during transit or delivery.
- Collaborate with transport vendors and logistics partners for rate negotiations, contract renewals, and onboarding new delivery partners.
- Review and verify transporter invoices to ensure rates are consistent with agreed terms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports to analyze logistics spending and identify opportunities for cost-saving and improved efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in order management, dispatch operations, or supply chain management.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of order management systems, freight forwarding processes, and ERP software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
