The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to combine data from diverse sources and design efficient data systems that align with our business objectives. About the Role:

This position involves managing the flow of data from backend systems to dashboards and analytics tools. You will work closely with our data model team to develop optimal data transformation methods, ensuring that our data is enriched and accurate. Additionally, you will establish scalable data storage solutions, guaranteeing the quality and fidelity of our data at all stages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines for large-scale healthcare datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow and integration
• Design and implement data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration strategies
• Research new technologies and share knowledge with the team to drive innovation
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues efficiently

Requirements:

• Proficient in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines for large-scale healthcare datasets
• Extensive experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Strong expertise in working with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, including data modeling and optimization
• In-depth knowledge of Python and its libraries for data processing, manipulation, and analysis
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software developers
• Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and working experience in AWS/GCP services
• Proficient in developing and maintaining data documentation and metadata management

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of TypeScript for collaborating with the development team on data-related projects
• Experience with other cloud platforms like Azure and their data services
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark and Hadoop
• Understanding of data governance principles and best practices
• Hands-on experience in handling sensitive healthcare data while adhering to HIPAA compliance and data security standards
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and how they integrate with data engineering workflows
• Experience with data streaming and real-time data processing frameworks
• Familiarity with data visualization tools for creating insightful reports and dashboards

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
