We have a 24/7 Care Center based in Bangalore, staffed by a highly qualified and trained critical care team consisting of super-specialist doctors, nurses, dieticians, and pharmacologists. The clinical team uses our proprietary platform, RADAR, to connect to hospital ICUs and oversee the care of critically ill patients across multiple regions.

RADAR, built by our team of technology experts, incorporates automation, computer vision, real-time video, and data analytics to help expert care providers connect to and provide care to patients. As of now, we have cared for nearly 100,000+ intensive care patients across 23 states in India and saved numerous lives.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

**Job Description**

As a passionate Backend developer with a drive to build scalable applications, you will be an integral part of a team responsible for a product that is transforming the delivery of critical care. You'll work with talented and passionate engineers, designers, and researchers who are focused on building our products. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver high-quality applications/features/modules your team will be working on.
  • Write/review code daily, pair with team members on functional and non-functional requirements, and spread design philosophy, goals, and improvements to code quality across the team.
  • Ensure all code is thoroughly covered by automated tests and features meet quality checks before deployment.
  • Contribute to the constant improvement of practices and processes in the team.
  • Build and manage automated build/test/deployment environments.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Mobile, DevOps, UX, Data Science, Data Engineering, QA etc.) to define and execute the feature roadmap.
  • Research new technologies and tools and share learning with the rest of the team.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to other team members, including new hires.
  • Bonus: Previously worked in Healthcare/health tech or a startup environment.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • 4+ years experience in Node.js and MongoDB.
  • Experience and knowledge of WebSockets, Caching (Redis), Message Queues or Pub/Sub (Kafka).
  • Experience in REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication/authorization.
  • Experience in Git or another version control system.
  • You are a problem solver with exceptional analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of data structures (list, graphs, maps) and their advantages or disadvantages.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, successfully handle ambiguity, and have experience working with Agile methodologies, unit tests and tech documentation.
  • You have good written and oral communication skills, with an ability to handle both executive-level discussions as well as technical deep dives.
