We are reimagining the delivery of critical care through patient-centric solutions at Cloudphysician. As a global virtual hospital, we strive to increase access to high-quality care worldwide.

Our team in Bangalore operates 24/7 and includes super-specialist doctors, nurses, dieticians, and pharmacologists. They utilize our proprietary platform, RADAR, to connect with hospital ICUs across regions and oversee critically ill patients' care.

With over 1,00,000 intensive care patients cared for across 23 states in India, we have saved numerous lives. This is a unique opportunity to democratize critical care in our country as an Intensivist at Cloudphysician.

As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for patient care delivered at our on-ground ICU in Bengaluru. In addition to clinical care, you will participate in cutting-edge technological advancements in telemedicine, research, management, and education based on your interests.

The clinical team works closely with the technology team for constant feedback loops, creating a unique interaction in the healthcare space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as consultant intensivist with admission privileges while on a shift
  • Responsible for clinical management, procedures, liaising with other consultants, and patient and family counseling
  • Participating in meetings, quality projects, academic activities while on shift as a representative of Cloudphysician
  • Caring for patients at the ICUs in coordination with our centralized care center in Bengaluru
  • Conducting virtual rounds, including patient review, daily rounds, review of labs and radiology, drug charts, compliance to protocols, and family counseling
  • Liaising with the care center team actively and providing critical care expertise in real-time to augment delivery of critical care to the ICU
  • Check-ins with regular virtual rounds on sick patients and initiating appropriate actions with the help of the care center nursing team in collaboration with the care center team
  • Actively participating in quality initiatives directed at the betterment of the ICU in the Cloudphysician network and contributing to the team's effort
  • Documenting patient-level data and communication in our smart ICU platform, RADAR

Requirements:

  • Education Qualifications: IDCCM, IFCCM, FNB/DNB Critical Care, DM Critical Care OR any equivalent foreign degree
  • Patient care experience from best-in-class centers for critical care
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong leadership with big-picture thinking and vision

Compensation:

This is a full-time position, which includes day shifts as an ICU consultant and onsite team leader at our partner hospital. Each bedside shift is 8 hours. The estimated compensation for this role is around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. There is an opportunity to cover more shifts beyond the minimum required.
