Lead Digital Transformation

The company seeks a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead its digital transformation. This key role will drive innovation, enable growth, and establish the company as a thought leader in its industry.

The CTO will be responsible for developing and implementing an IT & digital transformation vision and strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives. They will position the company as a pioneer in industry forums, create visibility, and own the innovation charter across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have over 20 years of experience in IT/Tech, preferably in retail organizations or services companies, with end-to-end responsibilities for enterprises. They will have experience in digital transformation for enterprises, spanning across business processes, and omnichannel systems required for a new generation retailer.

The CTO will work closely with business unit leaders to help the company become a lean and truly agile DevOps organization. They will drive an application modernization and migration plan, transform the way the company leverages technology, and enable automation across the organization.

The role involves defining an integrated data management approach, building an AI-enabled business analytics capability, and helping the company monetize data and leverage it for superior experience and business value creation.

The CTO will visualize and build customer/employee-centric experience platforms connecting the organization. They will report to the CEO and provide oversight and direction to IT and business leaders on strategy, standards, and opportunities for shared services and economies of scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the IT & digital transformation vision and strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives.
  • Position the company as a thought leader in industry forums and create visibility – own innovation charter across the organization.
  • Advise the senior management team on emerging technologies and digital trends that are most relevant to the company's goals and evolving needs.
  • Define futuristic IT architecture focused on experience-led customer/employee-centric systems – delivering a seamless omni-channel experience across sales and service.
  • Able to work collaboratively with diverse leaders, communicate an IT vision and strategy across all levels of the organization, and build consensus around key initiatives and projects.
  • Lead and mentor the IT department, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire, and motivate a high-performing IT team that values transparency and accountability.
