Senior Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Director to lead our Real World Data (RWD) team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for owning directly a certain body of work, and providing support to the RWD organization for other parts.
  • They will also be responsible for leading a team of analysts that support the RFP process for the team, requiring a solid understanding of the customer problem and RWD assets.

The role involves:

Main Responsibilities
  • Turning around accurate responses (counts, data profiles) to support pre-sales/sales teams in a timely manner.
  • Providing guidance and oversight for consulting delivery work, including shaping how work is funnelled to offshore teams and optimizing delivery.
  • Supervising offshore resources to build, expand, and maintain indication-specific data lakes powered by unstructured notes.
  • Team management and leadership, with a focus on maintaining a 'healthy team' and assisting in recruitment, training, engagement, and HR-related activities.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership and subject matter expertise in RWD and clinical experience.
  • A post-grad degree in clinical or bioinformatics, or a post-grad degree in CS, Math, or equivalent with exposure of no less than 5-7 years in core data science algorithm development.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in leading teams in globally distributed setups delivering consulting work predominantly in Data Science and Data Engineering.
  • Total of 15-18 years of work experience with 80% or more of the most recent experience being in bioinformatics, biopharma, and LifeScience related domains.
