Mortgage Loan Coordinator/Processor

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Mortgage Loan Coordinator/Processor to guide mortgage applications through the initial stages of processing. This role plays a critical part in verifying borrower documentation, coordinating with third parties, and ensuring loan files are complete and ready for underwriting while adhering to compliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Thoroughly review Uniform Residential Loan Applications for accuracy and completeness.
2. Verify authenticity and accuracy of income, asset, and credit documents submitted by applicants.
3. Proactively follow up with external vendors to obtain necessary documentation, including appraisals, Verification of Employment (VOE), title commitments, and insurance information.
4. Work diligently to clear all initial conditions on loan files, addressing any deficiencies or outstanding requirements.
5. Ensure all items on the processing checklist are accurately completed and documented.
6. Prepare and submit complete and organized loan files to the Underwriting department.
7. Strictly adhere to compliance policies throughout the process.
