Lead Fundraising Efforts

About the Role:

The Fundraising Director will spearhead fundraising initiatives across various segments, including HNIs/Family Offices, Corporate/CSR, Foundations (India & international), and digital/community giving.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop a comprehensive 3-year fundraising strategy with segment-wise targets and program objectives.
  2. Oversee the entire donor lifecycle: research → qualification → cultivation → solicitation → stewardship → renewal/upgrade.
  3. Design multi-year giving vehicles and create a balanced pipeline of prospects and donors.
  4. Represent the organization with credibility and secure strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks.
  5. Collaborate with Communications to develop an integrated brand + fundraising calendar and oversee investment-grade proposals and impact reports.
  6. Lead fundraising efforts across the organization and establish clear SOPs, approval matrices, and data hygiene practices.
  7. Own the fund development budget and provide regular board-ready dashboards.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Marketing/Business/Communications or related field; fundraising certifications a plus.
  • 8–10+ years of direct fundraising experience with a proven track record of major-gifts and institutional fundraising (India & international).
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives and strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility, excellent written/oral communication skills.
