Job Title: Data Lifecycle Management Expert

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Lifecycle Management Expert to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of data from creation to disposal.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and document data retention, archiving, and disposition requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis with business and technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement data management strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate data management risks, developing and implementing controls to ensure data security and integrity.
  • Compile and track progress on implementation of data management strategies, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Represent the DLM team in cross-functional meetings, communicating key policies and requirements to various departments.
  • Develop process improvements and collaborate with teams to implement business and technical solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in data management, information management, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to effectively communicate complex data management requirements to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to detail and ability to document complex data management requirements.
  • Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.

Nice to Have:

  • Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Knowledge of data protection/privacy regulations and experience with data privacy laws.
  • Familiarity with database/cloud technologies, AI, and reporting tools.
  • Experience with large-scale data sets.
