Medical Sales Representative

As a Sales Representative, you'll play a critical role in promoting our cutting-edge cardiology products and therapies to doctors and specialists, driving revenue growth and market share in your assigned territory.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include:
• Achieving sales revenue and market share targets by promoting cardiology products and therapies to doctors and specialists.
• Practicing effective account management, KOL management, and promoting therapies to maintain product and technical competency.
• Providing market information (MIS) on a timely basis and ensuring coverage of all accounts within the territory.
• Maintaining and expanding existing business and developing new business opportunities.
• Identifying customers and driving customer engagement activities, market development initiatives, and creating awareness about products and therapies.
• Assisting doctors in the cathlab and providing support on implants.
• Managing marketing expenses and spend on marketing programs for HCPs.
• Communicating marketing plans, intelligence, and competitor activity promptly.
• Recognizing and understanding competitive products, features, and strengths in relation to Medtronic's products.
• Planning and executing training and technical programs for key hospitals.
• Engaging non-prescribing customers, hospital administrators, and staff to maintain productive relationships.
• Acquiring and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product and therapy knowledge.
• Participating in individual development plans and undertaking distributor reviews.
• Developing and maintaining accurate account and territory records.
• Completing administrative reporting and increasing market penetration through new customers and relationships.
• Providing market and competitor information to feed targeting, pricing, and product development processes.
• Maintaining and serving existing distributors and looking for new ones.
• Maximizing profitability of sales by managing consistency in supply and secondary sales.
• Contributing to the enhancement of the team through positive participation in training, sales meetings, exhibitions, and other company functions.
• Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual sales strategies and contributing to the development of the annual sales plan.
• Providing accurate and timely reports and records, and constantly reviewing and updating the database.
Must Have:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.
• MBA in Sales and Marketing preferred.
• Minimum 3-6 years of sales experience in Concept Selling/Medical Devices Selling is mandatory.
• Experience of Distribution Management.
• Willing to travel extensively.
Nice to Have:
• Strong Interpersonal skills, with focused People/Customer/Result orientation.
• Strong grasp on the market and understanding around the complexities, competition, customer preferences, etc.
• Ability to prioritize and execute as per the needs of the business and the current set of challenges.
• Strong analytical skills to understand local markets and customer needs.
• Strong leadership and vision, assertive, and can collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization.
• Ability to quickly revector and improvise the business model if the current model is not yielding desired results.
