Freight Delivery Specialist

A key role in transportation execution, the Logistics Associate plays a critical part in ensuring timely pick-up and delivery of freight.
Purview of a Trans Ops AssociateAn associate at NOC facilitates flow of information between stakeholders and resolves potential issues impacting customer experience and business continuity. They work across inbound and outbound operations.
Inbound Operations- Ensures that freight is picked up on time and delivered at fulfillment centers as per appointment.
- Addresses any potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of pick-up to delivery.
- Ensures that trucks leave fulfillment centers in order to deliver customer orders as per promise.
- Addresses any potential issues occurring during the lifecycle of freight leaving the center and reaching customer premises.
- Ideate process improvements and drive them to conclusion.
- Communication with external customers and internal teams.
- Escalate problems or variance in information and data to relevant owners and teams and follow through on resolutions.
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written as one may be required to create a narrative outlining weekly findings and variances to goals.
This role requires excellent communication skills, ability to analyze data and notice trends, and basic understanding of logistics. The associate should also provide real-time customer experience by working in a 24/7 operating environment.
