Job Role: Logistics Coordinator

About the Position

The Network Operations Center (NOC) plays a critical role in Amazon's Supply Chain network, responsible for timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will work closely with business and operations teams to analyze trends, automate processes, and propose changes to streamline operations.

Purview of a Logistics Coordinator:

  • Solve customer escalations and initiate programs in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity.
  • Drive improvements to visibility tools, methods, and processes to increase actionable data availability.
  • Proactively initiate SOPs and process changes as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication with internal customers including CS, MM, LM, FC, Trans Program, and HR.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to create compelling positioning/messaging strategy and present complex information clearly.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, mediation, and problem resolution skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics.
  • Experience with Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SQL.
