If so, we want to hear from you We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented **Seafreight Operations Coordinator** to ensure seamless operations and drive efficiency at our Delhi office, India. In this role, you will handle seafreight shipments to full satisfaction of customers and our network alike. Ensures the handling of the shipments in an economical way as well as in line with corporate instructions to maximize gross profit (GP). Builds relationships with carriers and customers to obtain more shipments and impeccable service. Ensures accurate and timely data update into our operations system. Main Tasks / Key Activities - Responsible for day to day coordination, execution and tracking of sea import, export as well as transshipments. - Liaise with oversea offices and agents - Prepare of essential shipping documentation on a daily basis - Follow up and updating customers on their import/export shipments - Communicate with carriers, terminals, customs brokers, truckers and oversea agents/li> - Ensure all shipment documentations are compliant with customs rules and regulations - Maintain effective relationships with clients, carriers, forwarders, customs etc. And ensure an impeccable service - Troubleshoot challenges that might affect the operational activities. - Negotiate and book cargo with shipping lines. - Complete customs clearances and ensure full compliance to any relevant regulations - Manage documentation flows; This includes all operational transactions such as bills of lading (B/L), packing lists, commercial invoices and certificates of origin, licenses etc. - Coordinate the collection/delivery processes and manage this until the final destination according to customers’ requirements. /li> - Work in a small, harmonized team and cover all aspects of the forwarding process. - Other ad-hoc tasks, urgent duties and projects as well as assignments Do you speak the language of a freight forwarder and want to contribute to a company that offers you opportunities for further development?
