Windows VMware Engineer Position

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Windows VMware Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure group, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Windows server architecture solutions, developing software, managing integration processes, and overseeing architectural design projects.

Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining server infrastructures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing project timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Windows server architecture solutions

  • Oversseeing architectural design projects
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of Windows Server administration experience (2016/2019/2022)
  • VMware administration experience
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Understanding of User Access Management (users/groups/roles)
  • Shell scripting skills (create and manage scripts)
  • Infrastructure Automation using Ansible / Terraform
  • Sound understanding of TCP/IP networking
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

Desirable Skills:

The following skills would be beneficial:

  • Server hardware experience: Cisco UCS, HPe Synergy, HPe DL360
  • Experience in cloud platforms: Azure / GCP
  • Exposure to Linux server administration
  • Familiarity with backup tools like Veeam, Cohesity
  • Experience with security tools: Qualys, CyberArk, SentinelOne
