Job Title:
Loan Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Loan Operations Manager to lead our loan processing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing end-to-end loan processing, ensuring operational efficiency, risk control, and adherence to regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Diligently perform checking duties for assigned activities.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the process.
  • Nurture team members through development and mentoring.
  • Understand bank processes and policies, adhering to needs.
  • Closely work with overseas branches to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Learn system functions and adhere to controls.
  • Support overseas branches in resolving operational incidents and reporting.
  • Provide suggestions to improve or streamline operational processes.

**Customer Focus:**
  • Deliver high-quality service to enhance the function's reputation and meet customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Support and resolve customer enquiries, providing excellent customer service.
  • Work in partnership with Compliance to understand relevant operational guidelines, organizational standard procedures, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with the wider operations team for information sharing and to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing.
  • Support developmental projects related to the Department.

**People Management:**
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing loan operations team, ensuring effective workload distribution, performance management, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, assisting in training and development to ensure high job knowledge.
  • Offer SME Support, nurture the team, and create appropriate backup systems.
  • Initiate training programs for new joiners and junior staff.

**Other/Control:**
  • Perform checking on operational issues escalated by less experienced team members.
  • Reconcile daily pending transactions.
  • Assist the Head of Department in determining support levels for new product offerings by reviewing resourcing issues, internal policies, workarounds, and system capabilities.
  • Support the Head of Department in achieving departmental KPIs set by Branch Management.
  • Manage the risk profile for the department.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
  • Maintain working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws, and regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
  • Timely submit Statutory and MIS reports.
  • Conduct necessary trainings to the team.
  • Manage testing and new migrations.

**Financial Efficiency:**Take initiatives towards cost reduction, automation, and digitization, supporting seniors in execution.

Requirements:
Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in managing Loan Operations,
Strong PC skills (MS Office),
Extensive experience in Loan Products, static data maintenance process & customer data management,
Understanding various system applications used for Lending,
Hands-on experience in managing stakeholders, governance, and managing toll gates,
Flexible in working in shifts,
Exposure to India-related regulatory guidelines and financial regulations,
Graduate and/or Post Graduate,
Good interpersonal skills to deal courteously and effectively with others,
Attention to details.
