Job Title: Senior Process Engineer

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.

You will work closely with project teams to understand and analyze project requirements, translating them into specifications and project deliverables.

Your primary objective will be to produce timely and high-quality project delivery, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop highly complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.
  2. Understand and analyze project requirements, translating them into specifications and project deliverables.
  3. Produce timely and high-quality project delivery.
  4. Build and configure dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Processes.
  5. Run simulations for a wide range of scenarios with built models.
  6. Carry out dynamic process and control studies.
  7. Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.
  8. Assist with Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.
  9. Execute OTS projects with project teams for end-to-end design & delivery for Refinery, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other customers.
  10. Manage the development of functional and concept technical design specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations/process controls/process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modeling.
  • Skill in Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, etc.
  • Skill in Real Time Optimization applications like ROMeo.
  • Skill in APC applications like Rockwell Pavilion, Yokogawa smoc, Honeywell RMPCT, ASPEN DMC plus.
  • Certified on modeling and simulation platforms like Aspen Plus/Hysys/Pro-II/Dynsim, etc. (an advantage).
  • Ability to read and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams, and control logics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong domain knowledge & Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
  • Good communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of DCS and ESD (an added advantage).
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong ability to maintain good working relationships with customers.
