Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our Indirect Commodities Procurement team. The successful candidate will design and execute strategies to optimize supply chain operations, ensuring smooth and efficient fulfillment of supplier engagement plans.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies with suppliers to achieve business objectives and priorities.
  • Manage indirect commodities procurement for PAN India operations, including professional managed services, logistics, warehousing, import/export, contractors, and business services.
  • Coordinate closely with stakeholders and HQ teams for strategic sourcing, supplier performance reviews, project implementations, and other key supply chain initiatives.
  • Lead and motivate a team of supply chain professionals, delegating tasks and providing coaching to ensure effective performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, reviewing technical and commercial documents, contracts, GPAs, and NDAs related to the factory.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with suppliers and work with internal teams to design improvement plans.
  • Stratify suppliers based on strategic importance and design customized supplier engagement programs.
  • Identify risks early and proactively mitigate them, monitoring supplier performance and raising alerts on technology, supply chain, or quality gaps.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience in indirect commodities procurement.
  • Good understanding of supplier landscape, value chain mapping, and zero-based costing.
  • Experience in developing and executing strategies with suppliers.
  • Ability to manage time, cost, and quality effectively.
  • Strong planning, process management, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working on greenfield projects is a plus.
