PCBA Development Lead

This key role involves leading the development of new PCBA products from concept to mass production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end NPD process for PCBAs, including feasibility, prototyping, validation, and transition to mass production.
  • Coordinate with sourcing and procurement teams for component selection and vendor management.
  • Develop efficient assembly processes for new products in collaboration with production and process engineering teams.
  • Define project timelines, risks, and mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery of engineering samples.
  • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements through ongoing audits and assessments.
  • Optimize NPD processes for faster and cost-effective launches through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers to support their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in PCBA development with a strong background in EMS or electronics manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of SMT, THT, PCB design tools, and IPC standards.
  • Familiarity with quality systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Exceptional project management and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams and interface with global customers.
