Job Overview

The role of Financial Manager is to provide strategic oversight and financial guidance, ensuring seamless integration of project-level financial management with corporate accounting responsibilities.

Key objectives include:

  • \
  • Ensuring effective bid and proposal reviews for financial compliance and client requirements.\
  • Establishing projects in ERP systems (Deltek Vision/Tally) in line with company policies.\
  • Maintaining accurate records of legal documentation for sub-consultants.\
  • Preparing and analyzing financial reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses, recommending corrective actions as needed.\
  • Ensuring revenue recognition compliance with GAAP ASC 606 and other applicable standards.\
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to prepare monthly invoices and requisition forms.\
  • Supporting collections and resolving overdue accounts in coordination with leadership.\
  • Assisting with project close-out according to company policy.\
  • Overseeing accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, expense coding, reimbursements, and cash application.\
  • Preparing monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, management reports) and cash flow forecasts.\
  • Handling tax computations, filings, and local compliance requirements.\
  • Maintaining fixed asset registers and financial schedules.\
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.\
  • Assisting auditors with year-end closing and documentation.\
  • Managing payroll processing and employee cash advances.\
  • Maintaining statutory registrations, certificates, and office compliance records.\

Requirements

  • \
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\
  • 5+ years' experience in accounting, preferably in a professional services environment; AEC industry preferred.\
  • Minimum 3 years' supervisory or management experience.\
  • ERP experience (Deltek Vision required; Tally experience beneficial).\
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).\
  • Familiarity with US-GAAP, IFRS, and IND-AS.\
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with high accuracy and attention to detail.\
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and compliance with financial regulations.\
