Senior Academic Manager

About the Role:

AP Guru seeks an experienced and dedicated Senior Academic Manager to oversee and manage academic operations. The ideal candidate will ensure quality academic delivery, efficient coordination, and resolve operational challenges to provide an exceptional learning experience for students.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in educational settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks assigned to coordinators and Relationship Managers (RMs).
  • Monitor daily homework distribution to students and address gaps in the process.
  • Track tests conducted and update test sheets promptly and accurately.
Data Management and Coordination
  • Maintain and update the academic student database with current information.
  • Collaborate with the accounts team to complete trial sheets and send fee messages to new students.
  • Maintain a clear overview of students, teachers, and classes for seamless operations.
Stakeholder Interaction
  • Address complex queries and resolve issues escalated by coordinators or RMs.
  • Communicate with teachers and parents to address concerns or provide updates.
Resource Management
  • Share relevant resource materials with teachers and students.
  • Search for and procure books or materials that align with student needs.
Quality Assurance
  • Work closely with teachers to maintain high standards of academic delivery.
  • Monitor the overall academic experience to ensure a productive and enjoyable learning journey for students.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in academic management or a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective coordination.
  • A proactive problem solver who can handle challenging situations with confidence.
  • Familiarity with educational resources and teaching methodologies is beneficial.
