Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management and will be responsible for ensuring that our company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring Compliances:
  • Ensure compliances with IFSCA, SEZ and SEBI AIF, Ancillary Services, PMS Guidelines and Regulations, FEMA, Anti Money Laundering laws and assisting on KYC requirements under the legislations and ensuring that the procedures are followed and regularly reviewed.
  • Secretarial Compliances:
  • Ensure secretarial compliances under the Companies Act, 2013 and such other statutes, regulations and guidelines as required and developing good corporate governance practices for the companies. Arrange board/general meetings and prepare minutes thereof.
  • Maintenance and Audits:
  • Maintain secretarial records, statutory books and registers and handle statutory & internal audits.
  • Regulatory Interactions:
  • Respond to inspections, regulatory and audit queries as the principal point of contact. Prepare, file and register forms, returns, applications or other documentation as required by and on behalf of the companies with Special Economic Zone Authorities, IFSCA SEBI, RBI or other regulatory authorities.
  • Special Assignments:
  • Handle special assignments relating to business initiatives to the extent impacting compliance and legal affairs. Implement compliance policies and procedures.
  • Training and Support:
  • Conduct compliance training for the employees. Draft, review, negotiate, execute contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Statement of Works, Licensing Agreements, and other legal documents pertaining to the company and the client companies.
  • Legal Document Management:
  • Draft and standardize all legal documents of business and all other documents relating to the company.
  • Business Solutions:
  • Provide legal solutions/remedies to the business teams to mitigate the risk involved in business transactions. Ability to liaise with regulatory and SEZ authorities as and when required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance management.
  • Proven track record of ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of IFSCA, SEZ and SEBI AIF, Ancillary Services, PMS Guidelines and Regulations, FEMA, Anti Money Laundering laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
