Pharmacist Role Overview

A highly skilled and dedicated pharmacist is required to join our dynamic team at Aster MIMS Kannur. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications and counseling patients on drug usage, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential to prioritize tasks and manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and safely, adhering to regulatory guidelines and industry standards
  • Counsel patients on medication usage, including potential side effects, interactions, and dosages
  • Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory and stock levels to prevent overstocking or understocking
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and ensure continuity of treatment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advances in pharmacology, making recommendations to improve patient outcomes

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Pharmacist with the relevant state or national authority
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
