Clinical Pharmacist Trainee

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacist Trainee to join our dynamic team.

  • Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians is a key responsibility of this role.
  • The successful candidate will monitor customers' drug therapies, advise on interventions and inform customers of any potential side effects.
  • Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications is essential for their health and well-being.
  • This position involves conducting health and wellness screenings which will provide valuable insights into customers' health status.
  • The clinical pharmacist trainee will also be responsible for providing immunizations and other medical services such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements and checking blood sugar levels.
  • A critical aspect of this role is maintaining accurate customer records to ensure seamless communication between healthcare professionals.
  • The working environment must be safe and clean at all times, so ensuring this is paramount.
  • In addition to the above responsibilities, the clinical pharmacist trainee will complete operational requirements including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the inventory.
  • It is essential that the individual in this position adheres to applicable legal rules, regulations and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
