  • This role involves leading the development of new pharmaceutical products within the Indian market.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for identifying unmet therapeutic needs, gathering feedback from key stakeholders, and developing business cases to present to senior leadership. Your focus will be on conceptualizing and planning new products that meet the evolving needs of customers in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • You will oversee branding and promotion efforts, including market research and collaboration with advertising agencies.

Your duties will also include spearheading Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs to build lasting relationships with healthcare professionals, as well as mentoring and developing team members through performance appraisals and talent development initiatives. Additionally, you will devise region-specific strategies based on feedback from Regional Sales Managers and incorporate regional needs into product plans.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform decision-making and product portfolio strategies.

Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams is essential to ensure alignment on product strategies. You must have a strong understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, including competition, customer behavior, and prescription habits. A proven track record of successfully launching and managing pharmaceutical products is required.

  • A graduate degree in any Science stream; advanced degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Product Management within the pharmaceutical industry.
