About the Role:

  • Taking detailed patient histories involves gathering systemic and ocular information from patients.
  • Vision assessments, refractive tests, and prescribing corrective eyewear are performed under the supervision of a senior consultant.
  • Ophthalmic investigations such as OCT scans, FFA imaging, Fundus photography, and LASER procedures are conducted.
  • The eye care professional assists in LASIK surgery and premium IOL/LASIK evaluations.
  • Mentoring optometry students, patient education, follow-up consultations, and outreach screenings are essential aspects of this position.
  • Prompt data entry into our health management system and equipment maintenance are also crucial tasks.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Optometry is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in the field is required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital for effective patient care.
  • The ability to independently manage the day-to-day operations of the vision center with flexibility to work across various locations is essential.
